What is the minimum length of stay for the internship? Are they full time or part time or both options?

The minimum length of stay for an internship could be of 4 weeks. However this is really rare as companies are keener on taking on students staying for a minimum of 3 months. This enables the companies to teach them their company working procedure. However, for small sized companies this is a good opportunity.

Is it always based in central London?

No, the internships could take place outside of Greater London such as Potters Bar, Milton Keynes, St Albans where we have accommodation opportunities within Host families.

Can you guarantee a placement to any students? Do they need to fulfill special requirements in terms of age, level of English, studies, etc?

MPA Coaching endeavors to provide a good quality placement to all its students. However, as we are dealing with companies with internal procedures, it is sometimes out of our power if the companies require more time to get back to us regarding a candidate’s application. And we are subject to their final answer. When we receive a student’s application, within 48 hours we contact the students by email to arrange for a Skype and/or telephone interview to assess their level of English, and go through their CV and what they are looking for as per their training. 

Is there any period of the year that you cannot accept students?

Summer and Christmas holidays tend to be quiet as companies are closed or there is no activity. However, MPA Coaching remains open to welcome and assist any students looking to find a summer job or attend English courses or just visit London. We also assist students desiring to settle in London. 

Shall the students arrive at London on weekends?

When the student’s application has been successfully processed, yes it is preferable for him/her to come on weekends for us to welcome him/her from his/her arrival point to his accommodation and to provide him the journey for his company and provide any assistance he/she may require on his arrival.

What does ‘technical internship’ mean?

Technical internship refers to placement such as in medical industries (nurse, doctor, etc) and law, etc.
